The physical side of the Polar Adventures due dilligence process for the 2011 Race was carried out last Sunday, on the Ridgeway in Wiltshire. Despite a dire forecast and a lot of water underfoot, contestants made short work of the trek, and all were back in under 5 hours.

Sadly our old haunt the "Shepherds Rest" is no more – a victim of the recession. Most found our new haunt the "Cross Keys" in Lower Wanborough to be a more than adequate replacement.
