BIOGRAPHY
I love the cold, I love long distance competitions, I love training hard for a gigantic goal, but most important, Jan Meek is doing it and she challenged me to do it too!
My endurance exploits began when I was young — when I was 10 years old I completed a 2 mile swimming race. Since then, I've switched to dry land. I've run over 100 10km races, 3 marathons and a 100km ultra marathon (in a gruelling 12 and a half hours)!
As well as the flat I love mountains. I'm a full member of the alpine club — meaning that I've climbed several mountains of a truly alpine nature, and I've cross country skied dozens of competitive loppets ranging from 20km to 55km. Further afield, I've trekked around the entire Annapurna range in Nepal.
