BIOGRAPHY
My stamping ground is Leamington Spa, which I share with team mate John, and currently run a large part of the family business. I lay claim as the instigator of my team's participation in this "interesting" exploit, owing to a conversation piece in the pub running a little like: "Fancy a walk to the North Pole?"
Being small, ginger, balding, and Welsh, there's not really much going for me; however, I try to keep my svelte physique in shape by running away from John on the hockey pitch, and have represented my (small) country in the sport in the past.
I'm the mischievous one of the team, so it's highly likely that I cross the finish line on my own after planting seal blubber in Alex's pockets to attract polar bears, and booby-trapping the ice in front of John to check his arctic swimming technique. (Just kidding guys!)

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. It supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 3,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Cancer Research UK is one of the few organisations of its kind with the ability to take advances in basic research all the way from the laboratory to the patient. It is a European leader in the development of novel anti-cancer therapies and its extensive programme of research in clinical units ensures that new treatments reach patients as quickly as possible. Key to its success are the flagship Clinical Cancer Research Centres. These bring together world-class scientists and doctors on major hospital sites working side-by-side and with cancer patients on innovative areas of research — such as using viruses to kill cancer cells and tailoring cancer treatments to a person's genetic make-up. |
